National Wildlife Foundation. Ithaca College Natural Lands are featured as a case study in National Wildlife Federation's 2010 Campus Sustainabiliy Database. The National Wildlife Federation’s (NWF) Campus Ecology 2010 campus sustainability case studies is the only database of its kind. It's available online at www.CampusEcology.org. Close to 100 case studies were added for 2010, highlighting campus climate and sustainability efforts ranging from recycling and energy efficiency to alternative transportation systems and green jobs training programs.
Faculty Vote on Fracking. The Ithaca College Faculty Council recently voted on our statement on hydrofracking in Tompkins County. The statement can be accessed here. Results for the question "I support the ICNL Committee's statement on hydrofracturing" are 136 Yes, 11 No.
