If you are interested in submitting a paper please read the following guidelines carefully. No abstracts will be accepted that are not submitted online. If you have any questions about these guidelines please direct them to Dr. Emil Boasson at nersa@ithaca.edu PAPER AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: APRIL 15, 2006 Twenty minutes will be allotted for presentation and discussion of each paper. Visual aids can greatly enhance communication when they are used properly. Tables and charts prepared for publication are rarely satisfactory in a short oral presentation. Illustrations should be legible when viewed on a screen from a distance of 100 feet. Charts project better than tables. Complex tables and detailed maps are more effective when distributed as handouts than when projected on a screen. NERSA provides computers, LCD projectors, 35mm carousel slide projectors, and overhead projectors in all of the meeting rooms. Participants are asked to bring their presentation on a CD, Zip Disk or similar storage media to be used with the provided computers. Personal computers connected to the web cannot be used.
