Matthew Pappadia, Ithaca College student
The College Lifestyles website asked student and personal trainer Pappadia for advice about staying fit in college. He says you don’t have to go to a gym to get good exercise. “Plyometrics, one of the most difficult and rewarding training techniques, predominately relies on the weight of your own body,” he said. “Exercises such as squat jumps, jumping-rope, mountain climbers, and v-ups are essential to any fitness program and can be done right in a person’s living room.”
