In an article on search engine optimization for higher education institutions, Clark discussed how Ithaca College used simple SEO tactics to fix an issue related to the 2010 search for a mascot, in which other institutions used unofficial images. “Some institutions had incorrectly created banners a few times including one of the three mascot finalists to welcome our athletic teams.”
