Craig Duncan, assistant professor of philosophy and religion
In an article about some philosophers of religion losing faith with their calling that was published in an online magazine that covers religion, Duncan commented on the continuing value of that field of study. “Distinguishing between the logical and the evidential arguments helped clarify the types of theistic arguments that might serve as rebuttals,” said Duncan. “So even if people aren’t changing from theism to atheism and vice versa, the positions in the field get stated with increasing sophistication.”
