Tom Rochon, Ithaca College president
The Chronicle of Higher Education took a look at one of the most contentious issues on college campuses--the lack of adequate parking. President Rochon, who gave up his personal parking space for a week last winter, said proximity to his office isn't the only advantage of having a designated space. “The main difference is that I know where I'm going to park as I pull into the lot,” he says. “So psychologically I can be mulling some problem, because I'm just on autopilot.”
