Jeff Cohen, associate professor of journalism
The airing of a documentary about News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch brought attention to the fact that so far, the U.S. media hasn’t said much about the British phone hacking scandals. “Normally, when a bully is weakened, journalists go after him. And he’s (Murdoch) weakened, and they still don’t go after him,” he said. But that will change if a lawsuit is filed for the alleged hacking of actor Jude Law’s cell phone at JFK airport. “It’s New York City and we believe in privacy,” Cohen added.
