Reactions to the United States Postal Service’s recent decision to base a stamp design off the Las Vegas copy of the Statue of Liberty instead of the original have been mixed, reports the New York Times. Henes, a photography major visiting Las Vegas, said the issue of which image was used for the stamp was inconsequential because it involved outmoded technology. “It’s a stamp to me,” said. Henes. “We’re not the snail-mail generation; we’re the ‘e-mail, get it out as quick as you can’ generation. If it was 50 years ago, I would take issue with it.”
