Jimmy Knowles, president of the senior class
Ithaca College senior Jimmy Knowles spoke to U.S. News and World Report about how prospective college students can increase their chances of getting involved in student government, suggesting that they should consider attending a small school. “I know for a fact that if I would have gone to a larger school, either [I] wouldn’t have had the confidence or it would just have been so competitive—with so many people—that I think I would have almost been discouraged to get involved,” said Knowles.
