Will college students trade their hard-copy textbooks for e-books? Based on the responses of students queried, Hamula told USA Today that they won’t be trading anytime soon. He found that the vast majority of students in his advertising classes preferred the hard-copy versions of textbooks. “Students like having the ability to go back and forth quickly within the book and to physically write in the margins,” Hamula said.
