The Chronicle of Higher Education showcased the Peggy Ryan Williams Center and the accommodations that employees in the building are making to help it achieve platinum rating in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Program — a goal that once achieved would make Ithaca College the only campus with two LEED platinum-rated buildings. According to the article, many employees and students are happy to help. “A lot of people coming to this building worked in other places, where they would just come to the office and park it for the day and not get to know their neighbors,” said Voorhees. “I hope this group builds a sense of community in the building.”
