LECTURE: "Divine Weeping: The Teachings of Rabbi Kalonymus Shapira, the Rebbe of the Warsaw Ghetto," the 2003 Distinguished Holocaust Lecture by Nehemia Polen, professor of Jewish thought and director of the Hasidic Text Institute at Boston's Hebrew College; 7:30 p.m., Textor 102.
MUSIC: Guest lecture by Chen Yi, the Karel Husa Visiting Professor of Composition, speaking about her music and her musical life; 8:15 p.m., Iger Lecture Hall, Whalen Center.
SCREENING: Cinema on the Edge showing of the Black Maria Film Festival's touring program, with a talk by curator John Columbus; 7:00 p.m., Park Hall Auditorium.

LECTURE: "Hypnosis for Better Health and Healing," an Integrative Health Studies Speaker Series talk by Richard Schissel, associate professor of speech-language pathology and audiology; 7:00 p.m., Clark Lounge, Egbert Hall.
MUSIC: Concert by the chorus, conducted by Janet Galván, performing works by Johannes Brahms and Eric Whitacre; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

"The Extraordinary Ordinary," an exhibit of photographs, embroideries, and video works by Clio Padovani, Paul Whittaker, and Yoshio Itagaki; through February 23, Handwerker Gallery."Putting It Together," a photo installation by Milica Lukic and Miroslav Perkovic; opens February 27 and runs through March 30, Handwerker Gallery. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Thursday until 9:00 p.m.); Saturday, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 2:00-6:00 p.m.
