Ithaca College Calendar Of Events For November 26 - December 2

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1
SCREENING
Out of the Closet and onto the Screen film series screening of “A Closer Walk”; 7 p.m., Textor 101.

THEATRE
Ithaca College Theatre performance of “Eurydice,” a contemporary reimagining  of Ovid’s story about the journey of Orpheus into the underworld from Eurydice’s point of view; 8 p.m., Clark Theatre, Dillingham Center (admission charged).

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2
MUSIC
Performance by the Piano Chamber Ensembles; 7 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center. Performance by the Jazz Ensemble, directed by Mike Titlebaum with guest artist John Bailey, playing works by Bailey, Titlebaum, Brown, Ellington and others; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

CONTINUING EXHIBITS
“Threads of Hope: The Chilean Arpillera Movement,” an exhibition of small hand sewn and embroidered/embellished tapestries, created by women, most of whose relatives were among those listed as detained/disappeared during the military dictatorship in Chile. The exhibit runs through Dec. 11, Handwerker Gallery. The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.
