Performance by Yusheng Li and the New Continent Saxophone Quartet, performing works by Rossini, Bacab, Guo Yuan and others; 4 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.

Performance by the Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Jeffery Meyer, playing Beethoven’s Symphony no. 3 (“Eroica”); 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

Faculty chamber recital featuring mezzo-soprano Ivy Walz, baritone Brad Hougham and organist Jean Clay Radice, playing music by Bach and Handel; 7 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.

Performance by the Percussion Ensemble, directed by Conrad Alexander; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

THEATER
Ithaca College Theatre performance of Shakepeare’s “Measure For Measure”; 8 p.m., Hoerner Theatre, Dillingham Center (admission charged).  

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25
FESTIVAL
“Dickens: The Greatest Hits,” the closing event of the Ithaca Dickens Festival, featuring famous and favorite passages from Dickensread and performed by faculty, staff, students and community members; 6 p.m., Handwerker Gallery.

MUSIC
“Impressionistic Images,” a performance by the Concert Band, conducted by Mark Fonder, playing music by Itoh, Larsen, Ives and Reed; 8:15 p.m., Ford Hall, Whalen Center.

 

Performance by the Piano Ensembles; 9 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.

 

CONTINUING EXHIBITS

“The 2012 Senior Student Show,” a display of student art; runs through May 20, Handwerker Gallery. The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon–5 p.m.
