Ithaca College's Handwerker Gallery will Feature Student Works

ITHACA, NY — “2012 Senior Student Show” will open in Ithaca College’s Handwerker Gallery on Thursday, April 19, with a reception running from 5 to 7 p.m. A curator’s talk will be held on Tuesday, April 24, at 6 p.m. Curated by art history major Nora Kharmoudi ’12, the exhibition will feature the work of 39 students from the Department of Art and the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts. Running through May 20, the show will highlight the diversity of contemporary art practices at Ithaca College. An illustrated catalogue will be available.

All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public.

Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and weekends, noon to 5 p.m. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesdays but can accommodate group or class visits by appointment.
