“FDR and the Jews: Before the War and the Holocaust,” the Jewish studies program annual Holocaust Lecture, by Richard Breitman, author of “Official Secrets: What the Nazis Planned, What the British and Americans Knew”; 7:30 p.m., Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall.
Guest recital by clarinetist Marianne Gythfeldt; 7 p.m., Hockett Family Recital Hall, Whalen Center.
“do it,” an exhibition that will be built from scratch over the course of two weeks by Ithaca College students and faculty interpreting instructions from world-renowned artists like Yoko Ono, Sol Lewitt, Felix Gonzalez-Torres and David Lynch; running through Nov. 8, Handwerker Gallery, Gannett Center. The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Thursday, 10 a.m.–9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, noon–5 p.m.
