Ithaca College Musicians will Perform at the Corning Museum of Glass

 ITHACA, NY — Ithaca College jazz studies major Josh Condon and his group, Josh Condon & Friends, will perform at “Have Yourself a Swingin’ Christmas!” at the Corning Museum of Glass Auditorium on Sat., Dec. 17. This concert of jazz and holiday classics will begin at 7:30 pm.

Admission costs are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and under. Tickets are available online at: http://www.corningcivicmusic.org/?page=S1112CX.

In addition to Josh Condon & Friends, the concert will feature performances by the Ithaca College Jazz Ensemble, a 17-piece big band directed by School of Music faculty member Michael Titlebaum, and the Upstate New York Chorus, a professional chorus founded by School of Music faculty member Janet Galvan.

Other highlights of the concert will include vocalist Michael Civisca, a former cast member in the Las Vegas production of “The Rat Pack is Back”; vocalist Nancy Kelly, who was twice named “Best Female Jazz Vocalist” in the Downbeat Reader’s Poll; and saxophonist Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, who has shared the stage with such jazz luminaries as Dave Brubeck, McCoy Tyner and Christian McBride.
