One of the things that makes NYSACAC such an outstanding organization to be involved with is the commitment of its members to the programming and services it maintains. Activities such as Camp College, which provides a pre-college experience to students underrepresented in higher education, the Joan Zinner Memorial Scholarship Fund that supports counselors attending the annual conference, and the inaugural student scholarship, which aims to offer additional financial assistance to a New York State college-bound freshman.
For many members of NYSACAC, a donation of time to sustain these initiatives can be hard to come by. Fortunately, we are willing to take your monetary contributions instead! Whether large dollars or pocket change, any amount will be gratefully accepted in order to further our efforts in support of these worthy endeavors.
Look for the fundraising table at registration, where you will be able to learn more about Camp College, the Joan Zinner Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the inaugural student scholarship program. There, you will be able to choose where your donation will make its impact.
NYSACAC is only as strong as its membership; without your generous contributions, our volunteers can only go so far. Consider assisting us in providing access to these much needed programs and scholarships that in turn help New York State students gain access to a higher education.
