|Class of 2013, Integrated Marketing Communications|
"My semester with the CIW program was one of my favorite experiences of my whole college career. My original goal for the program was to spend a semester exploring Washington, D.C., and by the end of the semester I had done that and so much more.
First, housing was excellent. We lived in a charming neighborhood in the central location of DuPont - an ideal starting point for any day's adventure in D.C.
Another invaluable component of the program was the internship. I completed a marketing internship with Meridian International Center and learned a great deal about the nonprofit environment of D.C.
One of my elective courses, Global Health Security and Diplomacy, was one of my favorite courses I have taken to date.
On top of everything, CIW offered an array of dynamic programming, including an opportunity to attend Supreme Court hearings and meet with Justice Ginsberg. I was also able to get involved in the incredible local culture through volunteering.
My experience with CIW exceeded all of my expectations. I would especially recommend this enriching and flexible program to any student interested in public policy or the topics of the core courses being offered each semester."
