Hi, I'm Katie Pillich,


I am a Sophomore Business major from Amherst, NY a suburb of Buffalo.  This year will be my second year showing in the Intermediate division on the Ithaca Equestrian Team and I am very excited!  I started riding when I was about ten after going to camp with horses.  My parents started me in lessons and after that I couldn't stop.  Advancing quickly I was soon in the children's division and showing in many "A" rated shows.  I rode at Susan Schoellkopf's Buffalo Equestrian Center, an amazing facility right in the city of Buffalo.

Having trainers such as Julie Moody and world champion, Jenn Alfano was a great experience, although through high school I thought I could manage two sports at once, soon rowing took priority.  I can't express enough how happy I am to be riding again.  I love the IC Team and love showing with the IHSA!!
