Clark Lounge, Egbert Hall
Your Faculty Development Committee and the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs invite you to a workshop which will discuss teaching, scholarship and service at Ithaca College. We are proud to have as our three guest speakers our recent Excellence Award recipients, who will describe methodologies and programs for good teaching, which we define in the broadest terms. Questions we ask: What is good teaching? How can we merge scholarship with teaching? How might our professional lives include service, for ourselves and for our students? This discussion might include new directions in the scholarship of teaching, integration, application and discovery. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please join us as we begin a new year. And welcome!!
