At the end of the day, my job comes down to...communications. It's fairly obvious, but I think this job too often focuses the communication outward-not inward. My job is just as important in that regard, as I'm here to see what you want SGA to do, as well. Student Government is a lot more than people sitting around with placards. When it's at its greatest, it can be the best vehicle for change that we have on this campus. So let's hear it for your voices, Ithaca College. Shoot me an email (I have one of those fancy phones that's smarter than I am, so I'll be sure to respond) and let's talk. But I'll also pester you from time to time about the cool stuff we're doing to make your Ithaca College even better. I also oversee elections, so look forward to a nice electoral email blast from yours truly.
In the time I'm not devoting to making sure ICSGA can continue being awesome, I do a lot of stuff. I'm involved with ICTV, the college's TV station, and produce its Sunday broadcasts of Newswatch 16 our (Emmy/AP/SPJ/CBI/PEGASYS award winning) News Show and co-created Experts Say, our (ICTV Just Desserts award winning) current affairs show. I'm also a diehard Red Sox fan and a political junkie. I'm always open to talking shop about...more or less anything. So seriously, if you're ever bored and wandering campus center during my office hours, I would love a visit. Also, Rachel Heiss smells.
