New Student Orientation Guide

Welcome to your summer orientation guide. Orientation is a three-day experience, with different goals for each day:

  • Day 1 - Orientation check-in and housing assignments
  • Day 2 - Learn about resources and meet with a faculty advisor
  • Day 3 - Register for first semester classes

What to expect each day.

Check out the example schedule and program highlights below for an idea of what you can expect during your orientation experience. You will receive a final version of your schedule during check-in.

The best time to make individual appointments with campus offices is on Day 1, between 1:00-3:00 p.m. or on Day 3, after 10:30 a.m.
