Transfer Orientation Guide
Welcome to your transfer summer orientation guide. All transfer students must attend the one-day mandatory transfer orientation. However, there is an optional extended transfer orientation for students seeking a more traditional overnight orientation experience.

|What to expect when you arrive for Extended and Mandatory Transfer Orientation.|
Extended Orientation Check-in and Monday Check-out
The tentative check-in time for this orientation program is between 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. in the lobby level of the assigned residence hall (see Planning Tips below). At this time you will receive your housing assignment, room key, fob, orientation schedule, class registration materials, the First-Year Reading Initiative book, and other important information.
Plan on checking out of your room before Mandatory Orientation between 8:00-9:00 a.m. As you have already checked in for orientation, you do not need to check in again on this day.
Mandatory Orientation Check-in
Check-in will be held from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the North Foyer, Campus Center. At this time you will receive your orientation schedule, class registration materials, the First-Year Reading Initiative book, and other important information.
Family members will also check in at this time to receive orientation related information and materials.
