  • Sunday, June 15 - Extended Transfer Orientation (optional)
  • Monday, June 16 - Mandatory Transfer Orientation

Review the information in each section below carefully and contact us with any questions you have along the way. We look forward to meeting you this summer!

What to expect when you move to Ithaca in August.

In August be on the look out for the IC Move-In mobile site and an updated Fall Welcome schedule on the First-Year Experience website. Fall Welcome program highlights include:

Housing Check-In
First floor meetings
Destination: Ithaca (social)

Transfer student breakfast
Dean's Welcome
Campus wide social

First-Year Reading Initiative
College 101 Workshops
ALANA Community Welcome BBQ
Transfer Student Meet 'n Greet
First-Year Residential Experience Kick-Off Events

Off-Campus Transfer Students:
If you live off-campus, it is equally as important for you to make connections and take advantage of the involvement opportunities during Fall Welcome. As you will not have a floor meeting to discuss Fall Welcome programs, make sure to visit the Fall Welcome website in August for a complete schedule.
