Despite the expense of tuition and fees, student payments cover a little over 90 percent of Ithaca’s operating budget. The College is fortunate that many parents help bridge the financial gap by supporting IC beyond tuition payments. Last year, 30 percent of all current and former parents made an additional gift to the Ithaca Fund for Parents. Contributions to the Parents Fund directly support our schools, athletic activities and other programs. These important gifts help to purchase cutting-edge technology, bring important lecturers and guest artists to campus, and support faculty-student research and internship opportunities. 

Volunteering

The gifts of your time and talent are vital as well -- the College has many needs for volunteers. Interested in speaking to prospective IC students and their parents? Can you host an IC intern? Can you share your career expertise with students who hope to follow in your footsteps? If so, you can provide a valuable contribution to our students.
