Shortly after announcing my plans to retire in July 2017, I began working closely with the college leadership team and the board of trustees to review our strategic direction to the extent necessary to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

Dear Ithaca College Community,
As many of you know, the board of trustees was on campus during the week of February 8 to hold our winter meeting. The February meeting was slated to be held in Los Angeles, but we moved it to the Ithaca campus so we could stay close to the campus community and provide more opportunities for members of the community to engage with us.
ITHACA, NY—At its February meeting, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees approved a budget that features the smallest percentage increase in tuition, room and board in over half a century.
For 2016–17, the cost of attending Ithaca College for students who live on campus in a standard room will be $56,766, representing an increase of just 2.59%.
As you may be aware there is a big winter storm predicted to hit the East Coast on Saturday, January 23, 2016. While this storm is not anticipated to produce much snow in Ithaca, we have many students and families who live in areas that might receive a significant amount of snow and/or experience blizzard like conditions. As a result we are inviting students who will be impacted by this winter storm to return early to campus.
Ithaca College wants our new students and their families to feel welcomed to the IC community, and we’re looking for volunteers to help us roll out the red carpet. Every June, July, and August, IC offers new student welcome parties, small gatherings held in the homes of IC parents and alumni. Are you interested in being one of...
