The Class of 2013's fourteen students have been continually adjusting to life as Park Scholars...and as college freshman. The members of the class have jumped right into involvement at IC, devoting time to a diverse array of projects. Some of the students have already achieved leadership roles in their extracurricular involvements, including in the Student Government Association, and many others are sure to emerge in the coming months. Service has already become a priority for the freshmen, with service involvements including Habitat for Humanity, Water for Sudan, IC Human Rights, the SPCA, and many have donated their time at the Longview Senior Center. The students round out their time at Ithaca by contributing to projects in the Park School, such as ICTV, 360° Magazine, The Ithacan, Buzzsaw magazine and WICB. With tons to keep themselves busy, the freshmen Park Scholars should have plenty to maintain a fresh perspective on their community in their four years at Ithaca.
