
"I don't get star-struck easily," says Matt Pascua. That's a good thing, as Matt recently spent a summer editing new footage of Jude Law for the president of Miramax. Choosing scenes for a feature film requires a sophisticated sense of how film unfolds. "It feels good to be trusted," he says, adding that respect and trust have been his experience at Ithaca right from the start.
"To be given the opportunity within your first weeks at school to host a show, work the camera, or be in the control room is very exciting -- and one of the many advantages of being in a program this size," he says. "Anything you want to do, the staff helps make it happen." And so do his fellow Park scholars. "We share a work ethic and eagerness to help out on each others' projects -- because we know they'll be worthwhile and high quality," he says. "The sense of community is very strong."
