The Park Scholar Program works to match scholars with service opportunities all over the world. In recent years, scholars have

  • distributed medicine at a medical clinic in the Dominican Republic

  • worked with an Ecuadoran organization dedicated to providing food and shelter to homeless children

  • helped out at a Dublin, Ireland, organization that tutors underprivileged youths

  • provided care at an animal shelter in Queensland, Australia

  • raised money for elementary and secondary schools in the Kingdom of Tonga

  • organized weekend trips to clean up community centers and to help local charities in London

  • assisted in the construction of a clinic in Kenya

  • and collaborated with Italian artists to create an exhibition in just two weeks.

Scholars also participate in service across the U.S. From lobbying for support of international policy changes in the nation's capital, to assisting flood victims in New Orleans, to maintaining weather stations in Washington state, and helping children learn to read at a library in Burbank, California, Park scholars make a difference nationwide.
