It is with great pleasure and pride that we are announcing this year’s recipients of the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi Presidential Scholar Awards, named after the first four presidents of the Ithaca College chapter:

Ithaca College’s chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi welcomes Michelle Denison (Occupational Therapy major) and Lisa Famularo (Business Administration major) as the 2014-2015 Student Vice-Presidents. Michelle and Lisa will serve on the chapter’s Executive Committee and attend meetings and events.


The Ithaca College chapter of Phi Kappa Phi will hold its annual Spring Induction Ceremony on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Hockett Family Recital Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.

At that time, the chapter will be inducting new members from all five schools, all of whom have been vetted by the Chapter’s Executive Committee and invited to membership in the honor society.

Each year, the Ithaca College chapter of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi invites outstanding seniors to apply for selection as the chapter’s candidate for one of the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi National Fellowships for the first year of graduate or professional study. This year the IC chapter of Phi Kappa Phi received many outstanding applications for consideration.

The selected application was submitted by Katharine Ahrens, a senior Mathematics and English major (Music Minor) in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Ithaca College, who plans to continue study at North Carolina State in the Fall 2015.


The Ithaca College chapter of Phi Kappa Phi will hold its annual Fall Awards Ceremony on Friday, November 14th, 4:00 PM in Klingenstein Lounge, Campus Center.
