What man is not a sign of misfortune

What man is not a sign

of misfortune

a tired comet

slashing the sky

who comes to each time

and knows he is nothing

more than a flag

outside the abbatoir

a talking thing

astray in the flesh

who mumbles kaddish

at the life-long grave

of the god of

nothing but
