Special Academic Opportunities

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation awards graduate scholarships to help students with exceptional promise and demonstrated financial need meet their full potential through education.

Each award funds a portion of educational costs including tuition, fees, and housing expenses for the length of a John Kent Cooke’s Scholars’ graduate degree, up to six years. Support can total as much as $50,000 per year. Last year 35 of these scholarships were awarded.

To be eligible a candidate must be a college senior or recent graduate from an accredited U.S. college or university, have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, plan to attend graduate school in the fall semester following graduation, and be nominated by his or her undergraduate institution.  Ithaca can nominate up to two students per year.
