USA Today All-Academic Team Award
USA Today recognizes students for their exceptional academic skills or talents. The criteria for this award are designed to find students that excel both academically and in leadership roles on and off campus.
Students selected to the first, second, and third teams will be featured in a special section of the USA-Today newspaper in early February. The 20 first-team members will be invited to receive their awards, including a $2,500 cash award, at a special ceremony in Washington, D.C.
- Be a full-time undergraduate in any field of study.
- Excel in both scholarship and leadership roles both on and off campus
- Demonstrate his or her scholarly ability and achievement through an outstanding original or academic project (i.e. creation of original play or musical composition or some type of presented or published work).
Applications must be received in the Provost’s Office by October 15, 2009.
Completed applications are due by late November 2009.
