The provost invites members of the faculty to participate in two planning meetings regarding the recent strategic visioning presentation. At these meetings, we will begin the process of evaluating the best avenues through which the integrative curriculum project can be implemented.

President Tom Rochon and Provost Kathleen Rountree announce that the spring semester meetings for faculty will be held on Wednesday, March 4, and Thursday, March 5, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. (or shortly after) on both dates.
Both meetings will be held in Park Auditorium in the Roy H. Park School of Communications.

The 13th annual James J. Whalen Academic Symposium will be held on Thursday, April 16. This year's symposium will be the opening event of a two-day celebration for the inauguration of President Tom Rochon.

Several years ago, under the leadership of then-Provost Peter Bardaglio, and informed by the input of several task forces and advisory committees, Ithaca College began the process of transforming the freshman seminar program in the School of Humanities and Sciences into a campus-wide Ithaca Seminar program that could eventually be required of every freshman.

The national office of Sigma Iota Epsilon Management Honorary has announced scholarship winners for 2008. Members of the Zeta Iota Chapter at Ithaca College captured eight of ten National Scholar Awards! Kudos to these outstanding students!
