Parent Program

Parents play a vital part in the success of the Suzuki method, and the institute has planned various activities to help parents fulfill their role. Included in the schedule are opportunities for observation of classes, panel discussions, and seminars on many topics. Parents of young students may attend special sessions designed to increase understanding of the techniques in books 1 and 2. There is an opportunity, on a limited basis, for enrollment in a parents’ violin class. Participants must provide their own instrument and pay an additional fee. Please note that this class is scheduled during play-ins and parent seminars.
