RICH

Author of more than 15 volumes of poetry, including The Dream of a Common Language and Dark Fields of the Republic, and of five books of nonfiction prose, including Of Woman Born and Arts of the Possible, Adrienne Rich delivers language that incites action and provokes deliberation --- in, as she says, "the voice of the individual speaking not just to herself, or to a beloved friend, but to and from a collective, a social realm."

A POETRY READING

Tuesday, October 2, 2001
7:30 p.m.
Muller Chapel

Adrienne Rich's books will be available for purchase at both events.

We welcome all members of the Ithaca College community and the general public. For further information contact Katharyn Howd Machan at 607-274-3325

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodation should contact the Office of Affirmative Action at 607-274-3909 (voice), 607-274-1767 (TDD), or bleblanc@ithaca.edu, as much in advance of the event as possible.
