the Tribes, Carolyn Forché has become one of the world's
most important poets of witness --- not only for her collections
The Country between Us and The Angel of History, but also
for her translations of such writers as Claribel Algría,
Robert Desnos, and Mahmoud Darwish. She is renowned for ther
powerful public readings. |
