We welcome all members of the Ithaca College community and the general public.

 

Winner of the Yale Series of Younger Poets Award in 1976 for Gathering the Tribes, Carolyn Forché has become one of the world's most important poets of witness --- not only for her collections The Country between Us and The Angel of History, but also for her translations of such writers as Claribel Algría, Robert Desnos, and Mahmoud Darwish. She is renowned for ther powerful public readings.
