The prize-winning author of three essay collections -- Bachelorhood,
Against Joie de Vivre, and Portrait of My Body -- as well as a novelist,
poet, memoirist, and anthologist, Phillip Lopate holds the Adams
Chair as a professor of English at Hofstra University.
Phillip Lopate will be
in residence at Ithaca College for this week.
