Facilities and Locale

Ithaca College’s School of Health Sciences and Human Performance offers undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students for a variety of careers in health-related fields. With state-of-the-art facilities and highly qualified faculty members, the school provides strong professional preparation with a firm foundation in the liberal arts.

The College’s facilities include exercise science laboratories, gymnasiums, exercise and weight rooms, dance studios, a library, a student center, athletic fields, an all-weather track, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a wellness clinic. See the campus map.

Ithaca is a lovely place to visit in the summer. Located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of central New York, it is ideal for outdoor activities. There are numerous state parks and trails for hiking, running, and bicycling, and nearby Cayuga Lake is excellent for water sports.

Housing and Meals

Housing and meals are available on campus. Standard residence hall rooms may be rented by the day for either single or double occupancy. Rooms are also available in Emerson Hall, which has private baths and is air-conditioned. Meals may be purchased in the College snack bar or off campus. A College dining hall will also be open, and you may purchase a prepaid meal plan or individual fixed-price meals. Rates for housing and meals are listed on the enclosed sheet.
