Faculty Recital Will Feature World Premiere |

A Wednesday, October 29, faculty recital by Frank Campos, trumpet, will feature a world premiere of Pleonasms, a work by former Ithaca College faculty member Malcolm Lewis. The piece was written specially for Campos and percussionist Gordon Stout, a fellow faculty member who will join Campos on stage along with pianist Diane Birr. The program will feature not only Lewis's work, but performances of the colorful Concerto by Henri Tomasi, Sonata by Kent Kennan, and Characteristic Variations for Trumpet by Brian Israel. Free and open to the public, the performance is slated for 8:15 p.m.
