Ariadne Quartet in Performance
	The Ariadne String Quartet, the faculty quartet in residence at the Ithaca College School of Music, will be performing a program of works for quintets on Wednesday evening, November 12, in Ford Hall Auditorium. The concert will begin at 8:15 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The quartet is composed of Ellen Jewett, violin, Margaret Cooper, violin and viola, Debra Moree, viola, and Elizabeth Simkin, cello. Faculty hornist Bill Bernatis will assist them in the Quintet in E-flat, K. 407, for violin, two violas, cello, and horn, by Wolfgang Mozart. Guest soprano, Judith Kellock, will perform John Harbison's 1991 composition On Awakening for soprano and string quartet. For the final work on the program, Franz Schubert's Quintet in C Major, Op. 163, they will be joined by guest cellist Heidi Hoffman.
