Employee Recognition Event Enhanced and Expanded President Peggy R. Williams has announced that the annual employee recognition event has been expanded and modified to promote a greater spirit of community. The event, renamed the Ithaca College Recognition Celebration, will include administrators, faculty, and staff members who have completed 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years of service (between June 1, 1999, and May 31, 2000). This year’s program is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, April 25, at noon in the Emerson Suites, Phillips Hall. A formal luncheon will be held to honor those individuals being recognized. Respective supervisors and deans/department heads will also be invited to join the festivities. Employees being recognized will have an opportunity to choose a gift certificate from one of five local retail establishments or make a selection from the Amagift "gift album." In mid-March the Office of Human Resources will be contacting those who will be recognized and communicating further information about the event.
