Daylong "WomenSpeak" Program to Be Held on April 12

WomenSpeak, an annual day of lectures, readings, and performances by women faculty, students, and staff of Ithaca College, will be held on Wednesday, April 12, in Muller Chapel. The program, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eleven presentations — including a talk by President Peggy R. Williams — will be offered on this year’s theme, "Women’s Work."

The presentations have been scheduled to coincide with regular class meeting times to encourage attendance by whole classes. For more information contact Katharyn Howd Machan, associate profes-sor of writing, at 274-3325. The WomenSpeak schedule is listed below.

Open forum for ideas, discussion topics, poems, songs

During the noon hour, WomenSpeak will adjourn, with presenters honored at a luncheon hosted by the women’s studies program.
