Nominations Now Being Sought for the Campus Life AwardsThe Campus Life Award is given each year to a select group of graduating seniors to recognize their outstanding contributions to the Ithaca College community through their participation in campus life. Nominees must meet several criteria. They must 1. Be a graduating senior (December 2000 or May–August 2001). 2. Have consistently participated in at least two areas of campus life (i.e., athletics, Campus Center and activities, conference and event services, campus safety, career services, chaplains, counseling center, dining services, health center, judicial affairs, multicultural affairs, residential life). One of these activities must have been either a nonpaid position or ongoing participation in at least two recognized student organizations. 3. Have participated in other areas of campus life (e.g., admissions, campus employment, dean’s advisory councils, Ithaca Opportunity Program, first year programs and orientation) or held student leadership positions in offices outside of student affairs and campus life. 4. Have demonstrated leadership abilities. 5. Be in good academic and judicial standing. Any Ithaca College faculty member, staff member, or student may nominate someone for this honor. Self-nominations are also accepted. Nominations should include student name, local address, and telephone number.
