Schedule of Events for Family Weekend 2002

Friday, October 4

 

7:00 am - 8:00 pm

FITNESS CENTER OPEN

 

Family members 16 years old and over are welcome.

11:00 am - 8:00 pm

CHECK-IN

 

Phillips Hall. Students with Ithaca College ID cards may pick up registration materials for their families.

4:30 pm

DINNER BEGINS

 

Campus dining halls. Guests may pay at the door; students on the meal plan must use their ID cards. Please check individual dining hall schedules (hours vary), or enjoy dinner in Ithaca on your own.

5:00 - 9:00 pm

Tower Club. Reservations are essential. Call (607) 274-3393, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

6:00 - 7:00 pm

Terrace Dining Hall. Guests may pay at the door; students on the meal plan should use their ID cards.

THEATER

 

Clark Theatre. Ithaca College Theatre presents The Laramie Project, the story of a Wyoming town coming to terms with the 1988 murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard. Tickets are required.

8:15 pm

CONCERT

 

Ford Hall, Whalen Center. The concert band and vocal jazz ensemble will perform. Tickets are required.

Saturday, October 5

CAPTAIN & MATE GOLF TOURNAMENT STARTS

 

Hillendale Golf Course. Two-person teams will play nine holes, with a shotgun start. There is an extra fee for this event and a separate registration process. Please call (607) 274-3294 for more information.

FOOTBALL PARENTS BREAKFAST

 

Emerson Suite B, Phillips Hall. Details will be found in the coach's invitation.

The senior class and the career services office will sponsor this networking reception to help students prepare for their transition into the professional world.
