Some
400 students, faculty, and staff joined together on the morning of September
11 to perform an emotional rendition of Mozart's Requiem for a packed
Ford Hall audience. To commemorate the terrorist attacks of one year ago,
the College scheduled a "Day of Remembrance" and "Day of Reflection,"
which also included the dedication of a "peace pole" and candlelight interfaith
service around the Muller Chapel pond, along with two educational forums
focusing on what the events of 9/11 have meant for the College community,
the nation, and the world.
