ITHACA -- The Ithaca women's basketball team (4-3) won its season home opener with a 72-67 victory over William Smith (3-2) Tuesday night at Ben Light Gymnasium. The Bombers were led by Lindsay Brown (Immaculate/Danbury, Conn.) who scored 17 points. Three other Bombers were in double figures.

ITHACA, N.Y.—The women’s cross country team took home all three end of season awards from the Empire 8, with senior Lindsey Nadolski (Chapel Hill/Chapel Hill, N.C.) named Runner of the Year, freshman Heidi Baumbach (Lake Placid/Lake Placid) Rookie of the Year, and Bill Ware Coach of the Year. Nadolski and Ware were both repeat selections while Baumbach is the second straight Bomber to be the conference’s top freshman.
