INFORMATION
For New Ithaca College Employees
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR NEW EMPLOYEE:
Please
contact and work closely with your department administrative
assistant, Dean’s Office, or Provost’s Office and
the Payroll Department to receive complete details and instructions
about your relocation and reimbursement for moving expenses.
The Purchasing Department has listed below for your convenience
several moving companies with which we have a business relationship.
We encourage you to seek multiple competitive quotes for your relocation.
By utilizing one of the listed firms with which the College has
a corporate contract, you will be working with a carrier that is
geographically close to your Ithaca-area destination.
Please
note that you will be responsible for making all arrangements
for relocation with the selected moving company and will
be responsible for handling and damage/loss claims directly
with that company
if they arise. Directly billing Ithaca College for your moving
expenses is not allowed because of tax regulations.
