A fine for room trash can be assessed if:

• personal trash is placed in a common bathroom, lounge, hallway or any other common space instead of being placed in the marked containers outside of the building
• any of the following items are found in your room when staff conducts break closing checks:
  
  1. trash or recyclables (containers)
  2. perishable food
  3. food left in a refrigerator
  4. any other item that could rot, mold, smell, or attract insects and/or rodents
